Booking Process
Steel City Promotions Ltd reserves the right to charge a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total event costs to the client upon the booking of an event. This must be sent along with a signed contract to Steel City Promotions office in order to secure the booking. No booking is confirmed and equipment cannot be held until a signed contract and 50% deposit is received. Steel City Promotions reserves the right to cancel a booking if the correct paperwork is not received prior to the event. The outstanding balance and any extras added to the contract is due for payment and must be received and cleared into Steel City Promotions’ account no later than 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise stated in the terms and condition of the contract. Any cheques that are returned unpaid by the bank will be subject to a £25+VAT administration charge, payable by the client.
All delivery, collection and installations will be quoted for in the initial instance and be included on all final contracts. All quotes and contracts are exclusive of VAT and will therefore be added on top. Steel City Promotions Ltd, have a £350+VAT minimum order charge. Event timings will be agreed as per event contract, any changes or extra hours may be charged for separately, prior to the event. Additional costs may be charged if the venue has special loading and unloading requirements or if extra staff members are required to aid an unreasonable load in/out. All additional charges will be agreed prior to the event and stated in the contract paperwork. Any additional costs relating to delivery and collection, i.e. overnight accommodation is payable by the client, and agreed prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel or postpone your event within 28 days of the event date, clients are liable to pay 50% of the total event costs as stated on contract. For all events cancelled within 14 days of event date, client will be liable to pay 100% of the event costs specified in the contract. Steel City Promotions may provide a credit note against the booking where they see fit and at their discretion.
